Kargil, October 25, 2025:
A total of 41,309 candidates are set to appear in the upcoming District Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (DSSRB) Kargil Examinations, scheduled to be held on November 9, 16, and 23, 2025.
According to official data, 19,964 candidates will appear for the Matric Level, 15,178 for the 10+2 Level, and 6,167 for the Graduation Level examinations. The exams will be conducted across 45 examination centres established throughout the district.
The large number of applicants reflects the growing interest and competition for government jobs in the region. To ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the exams, a training program for Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) was held today at Government Degree College (GDC), Kargil.
The training was conducted by Shri Jahangeer Akhone (JKAS), Secretary, LAHDC–KSSRB, who briefed officials about the examination procedures, responsibilities, and security arrangements.
The DSSRB Kargil has taken extensive measures to ensure that the exams are conducted fairly, securely, and efficiently, providing all candidates with an equal opportunity to compete for the 474 vacancies available under various district cadre posts.
