Leh, November 12, 2025:
The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has appointed Advocate Reyaz Ahmed Khan, son of Mohammad Ali Khan and resident of Chuliskamboo, Kargil, as the fourth Member of the 5th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil.
The nomination has been made under the powers vested in the Administration through Section 4(2) of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Act, 1997. This appointment comes in addition to the three members earlier nominated under Notification S.O. 84 dated September 4, 2024.
The order was issued by Michael M. D’Souza, IAS, Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), and approved by the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh in his capacity as the Administrator of the Union Territory.
