🎓 Programme Overview:

The University of Kashmir invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the 2-Year B.Ed. Programme (Distance Mode) for the academic session 2025–2026 (Batch-2025). This programme is offered through the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE), formerly known as the Directorate of Distance Education.

Interested candidates are advised to read the Admission Policy and relevant guidelines available on the CDOE websitebefore applying.


✅ Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 Pattern) with at least 50% marks (General Category) or 45% marks (Reserved Category).
  • Or, a Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, or Technology.
  • Candidates with a specialization in Science and Mathematics must have at least 55% marks or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • In-service teachers (teaching in Government or recognized private elementary/school education institutions) with a minimum of six months’ experience are eligible.
    • Experience Certificate must be issued by the Head of the Institution.
  • Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized Teacher Education Programme (D.El.Ed) in face-to-face mode are also eligible.

📅 Important Dates:

  • Issuance of Online Forms: 09 August 2025
  • Last Date for Submission: 21 August 2025

Ensure timely submission of the application form and requisite fee through the official online portal.


📝 Mode of Selection:

Selection will be based on academic merit, according to the university’s admission criteria.
