The State Bank of India (SBI) has released its official notification for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre across various states and union territories.
🔹 Important Dates:
- Online Application Starts: 06 August 2025
- Last Date to Apply: 26 August 2025
- Preliminary Exam: Tentatively in September 2025
- Main Exam: Tentatively in November 2025
🔹 Vacancy Details:
Total Vacancies: 5180+ (Includes Regular & Backlog vacancies)
State-wise and category-wise vacancies are available. Candidates can apply only for one state/UT, and must be proficient in the local language of that region.
🔹 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.2025):
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final year students can apply provisionally.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2025):
- 20 to 28 years (born between 02.04.1997 and 01.04.2005)
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
🔹 Selection Process:
- Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test – 100 marks)
- Main Examination (Online Objective Test – 200 marks)
- Language Proficiency Test (for those who haven’t studied the local language in 10th/12th)
Note: There is no interview. Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Main Exam.
🔹 Salary & Benefits:
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730/-
- Gross Salary: Approx. ₹46,000/- per month (including allowances in metro cities)
- Other benefits include PF, pension (under NPS), medical, LFC, and more.
