The purpose behind the construction of infrastructure outside Ladakh
It has been said that the construction of Ladakh Bhawan in Chandigarh is specifically to cater to patients from Ladakh who are referred to PGI Chandigarh for treatment. This is because a large number of patients from Ladakh are referred to hospitals like PGI Chandigarh, SKIMS Srinagar, and AIIMS Delhi for better medical care. To provide convenience to these patients, the administration has decided to construct a Ladakh Bhawan in Chandigarh.
